Presswood® pallets are a viable alternative to solid wooden
pallets in situations where relatively light loads are involved. Presswood®
pallets are made by pressurising recycled corrugated fibreboard and newspaper at high
temperatures. Because of the temperatures involved in their production, they are compliant
with ISPM15 regulations without further processing.
The tapered hollow bearers on Presswood® pallets allow empty pallets to be nested,
saving on storage space and making stacks easier to move. The rounded corners make shrink-wrapping
easier to apply and less likely to tear once applied. And, their light weight can save on freight
and fuel costs, as well as making it easier to meet your commitments under waste packaging legislation.
