The Euro pallet is an industry-standard pallet measuring
800 x
1200 x
144 mm.
Euro pallets must comply with the UIC 435-2 specification approved by the International Union of Railways. They can be manufactured
only under license from the European Pallet Association (EPAL). As licensed Euro pallet manufacturers, we are subject to the
stringent quality standards applied by EPAL. All of our pallets are manufactured using approved subcomponents (planks, nails, and
compressed wood bearers). Each Euro pallet bears the EUR symbol, the EPAL logo, the date of manufacture, and a
genuine approved EPAL tag. EPAL employs independent inspectors who can carry out unannounced inspections at any time.
Hazelhill Timber Products was the first company in Ireland to become a licenced
manufacturer of Euro pallets -- you can see this reflected in our licence number (IRL-001), which is branded on every

We are authorised by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI)
to produce heat-treated pallets in accordance with the ISPM15 international

We produce our Euro pallets on two automated production lines that give us a production capacity of 20,000 units per week.
In keeping with our environmental policy, all of the timber we use in our manufacturing process
is derived from renewable sources and dried in our on-site kilns. We use native timber whenever possible.

In our factory, we run two automated production lines for nailing, branding,
and stacking our Euro pallets. Automation offers our customers three
key benefits: uniformly optimal product quality, reduced cost, and high production
capacity.
Our automated production lines and on-site kilns give us the capability to produce up to 20,000 heat-treated
pallets per week. Coupled with our on-site inventory of up to 20,000 pallets and our total focus on customer
service, we can meet even the most demanding requirements.
